Questions about gifts, payments and privacy
Is this a file I download?
No. Each gift opens in the browser as its own app, from the apps page, and you can add that page to a home screen. The recipient still uses a private link and does not make an account.
When do I get it?
When the payment is confirmed by the payment provider, not when the browser returns from the payment page. Your order page then shows the next step.
Do you store card numbers?
No. Card payments are handled by Stripe. This shop stores the order, the amount, and the email.
Can I buy from outside the UK?
Prices are in pounds. Stripe can accept many international cards. The Advent calendar uses UK dates and the Europe/London timezone.
How long do you keep a personalised message?
18 months after you publish it, then it is deleted. You can ask for deletion sooner from the support page.
